Day 1 of Geekfest Top End, part of Palmerston Youth Festival
Join us for the Power Up Parade, an epic Super Mario-themed march led by the Darwin Symphony Orchestra's (DSO) young artists! Channel your inner plumber and get ready to journey through Goyder Square with the iconic Super Mario theme resonating through the air.
Timings:
Arrive at the event at 5:00pm and meet the DSO team in Goyder Square.
- 5:00pm - 6:30pm: Instrument making in Goyder Square
- 6:45pm - 7:15pm: Rehearse the Super Mario themse song in Community Room 1 at Palmerston Recreation Centre
- 7:30pm: March out into Goyder Square
No musical experience is required—just bring your love for fun and fandom!
Whether you're a Mario, Luigi, or even a Bowser fan, come dressed in your best Super Mario attire and join the parade!
