Celebrate the power of community through creativity. Join us for a hands-on spontaneous mural-making workshop where you can contribute to a collective artwork that celebrates our vibrant, creative community.
This is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to engage in a fun, social activity while expressing their creativity. Whether you’re an experienced artist or have never picked up a paintbrush before, everyone is welcome to contribute to this community artwork.
Please bring an apron or wear old clothes, as we'll be using some messy materials.
Spaces are limited, so bookings are essential.
Cost: Free
Age: All ages. Children under 10 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Experience: No prior art experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and willingness to experiment!
Equipment: All materials and equipment will be provided. Wear old clothes or bring an apron as messy materials will be used.
About the Facilitator:
This workshop is run by local artist Mary-Helen Daly. She is a qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist who works with people of all ages to access joy and wellbeing through creativity.

Terms and conditions:
- For participants aged 10 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.
- For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
- The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
