With summer around the corner, the weather will soon be heating up. Join us for a heat preparedness workshop to learn how to stay safe and comfortable during the summer heat.

Find out how to keep cool throughout summer, take care of yourself in an emergency and save money by making your home more energy efficient.

Learn some tips and tricks shared by experts from:

  • the Red Cross
  • Good for the Hood
  • the Bureau of Meteorology
  • Western Sydney University - Sport Science expert Professor Ben Dascombe
  • Bankstown Hospital - Dr Lai Foong

Please arrive at 6pm for registrations and nibbles, with presentations starting at 6:15pm.

Please note that residents of City of Canterbury Bankstown Council are given preference. If you are not a resident, you will be put on a waitlist and may be able to join if there are still spots available closer to the date.
