Welcome to Gin-Dulgent High Tea at Life's Too Short Bar!
Join us for a gin-erous afternoon of indulgence in the heart of East Melbourne. Revel in our in-gin-eous high tea unlike any other with a three-hour Sommelier/Mixologist guided experience.
The afternoon includes two Gin-based Tea-inspired cocktails, one classic GnT or Gin cocktail matched to your palate, bottomless sparkling wine and fine teas from our Tea Menu by High Tea with Harriet (nine varieties available), all in a charming setting at Tribeca Arcade. Non-drinkers can substitute for gin-mocktails and non-alcoholic sparkling wine.
Come hungry! The food changes each event, matched to the gin botanicals. Savoury bites feature juniper, coriander, dill, basil, and lemon, PLUS there's a cheese platter with our famous gin and kumquat marmalade, and crunchy activated almonds PLUS a platter of curated sweet delights featuring orange, lemon, and chocolate (subject to availability). All food is gluten-free and most dietaries can be catered for with 24+hr notice.

The menu is often gluten free and coeliac-safe. We also host a vegetarian, and vegan (dairy-free) version of this event. If you have dietary requirements, please SMS us on 0466 045 473 a minimum of 24 hours before the event so we can accommodate your needs.
Our events are restricted to small groups to maximise the interaction in our small, intimate venue. Generally, no additional tickets can be provided than are listed.
Life's Too Short is located in the middle of the Tribeca Plaza near the IGA, at the intersection of Wellington St and 412 Victoria Parade, or enter from 166 Albert St (past Kellee Flowers).
By tram 12 or 109 route, stop 16 - Wellington St (2 minute walk). By train Jolimont (13 minute walk) or North Richmond (10 minute walk). By Bus routes 302, 303, 304, 305, 309, 318, 350, 905, 906, 907, 908 (5 minute walk)
2-hour paid parking is available around Powlett Reserve, Darling Square, and the Fitzroy Gardens. Extended paid parking is available at Care Park at 162 Albert Street, and at Epworth Freemasons in Gotch Lane off Grey Street.
If the a minimum of 4 tickets are not sold, the event may be rescheduled later or cancelled and tickets refunded. If you have booked a ticket and an event is amended we will contact you to make arrangements before the event.
