Sporting clubs play a vital role in role modelling positive behaviours and creating a healthy community environment.
Join the Good Sports Team to find out more about how to manage alcohol and illegal drugs as well as promoting safe transport to and from club events.
The session will cover:
- Role-modelling healthy behaviours for younger members
- Preventing and reducing alcohol-related harms
- Encouraging a healthy, smoke-free environment
- Supporting mental health initiatives and reducing stigma
- Making sure everyone gets home safely (and much more)
In addition, Jessie Burke - Community Development Officer (Recreation and Health), City of Kwinana - will be giving a Kwinana sporting community update.
