Get ready for a hands-on workshop where you'll get the opportunity to learn the skills to grow your own native plants and help boost your backyard biodiversity. Experts from Cedar Grove Landcare will teach you the fundamentals of soil types, planting techniques, selecting plants to attract birds, bees, and butterflies, and protecting your garden from pest species.

This workshop is ideal for gardeners, nature enthusiasts and anyone interested in native gardens. Don't miss the opportunity to take the first step towards creating a native oasis on your property!


IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

  • This event is designed for adults and families.
  • Recommended for ages 10 years and older with parent/guardian supervision.
  • This is an outdoor event.
  • You must register and secure a ticket for all people attending. Spaces are limited.
  • Detailed event information will be sent to the email address provided upon registering.


INFORMATION FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT:

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the event to check in.
  • Please wear fully enclosed shoes, sun-smart clothing, hat and sunscreen. Bring along drinking water, gloves and insect repellent.
  • This event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions aren't suitable. We will notify you via text and email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event.
