Grow Native: Planning your Native Garden

Experts from Cedar Grove Landcare will teach you the fundamentals of soil types, planting techniques, selecting plants to attract birds, bees, and butterflies, and protecting your garden from pest species.

• This event is designed for adults and families.
• Recommended for ages 10 years and older with parent/guardian supervision.
• This is an outdoor event.
• You must register and secure a ticket for all people attending. Spaces are limited.

INFORMATION FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT:

• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the event to check in.
• Please wear fully enclosed shoes, sun-smart clothing, hat and sunscreen. Bring along drinking water, gloves and insect repellent.
• This event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions aren't suitable. We will notify you via text and email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event.
