With the theme 'Open for Innovation and Collaboration', this jam packed two day Conference will focus on crime and community safety issues at a national level and provide opportunities for speakers and delegates to share insights, latest developments and approaches in resolving and enhancing safety in communities.

Only two-day conference tickets can be purchased.
Absolutely. Yes. The Welcome Reception will be held in the Vita Restaurant at the Gunnedah Hotel, Wednesday evening 5.00pm to 7.00pm. The Hotel is just one of many working together to implement a range of 'safe communities initiatives' in the Gunnedah Liquor Accord.
Absolutely. Only additional guests are required to pay. Dinner includes a sumptuous buffet dinner and complimentary drink on arrival. A bar will be operating at the dinner with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks able to be purchased.
Approx 75 kms. A free courtesy bus transfer will be available for delegates pick up/drop off. Email debrahilton@infogunnedah.com.au. The drive is a great opportunity to survey the sweeping plains and ragged mountain ranges that inspired noted poet Dorothea Mackellar to pen 'My Country'.
An uber and taxi service does not operate between towns due to the distance. A free Conference courtesy bus transfer is available for delegates pick up and drop off. Email debrahilton@infogunnedah.com.au to arrange. Hire cars are also available.
Unfortunately public Wi-Fi is not available at the Conference. While we understand that delegates need to stay connected, unfortunately access to public Wi-Fi does present a significant cyber security risk. Recharging stations will however be available for delegates.
Smart dinner wear is preferred. The Town Hall will transform into a 1920s speakeasy for the gala evening event, and guests will have the opportunity to relax, and chat with new and old friends. (Delegates are welcome to dress to the theme)
Of course. Additional guests are however required to pay $80.00 (Plus GST) Tickets can be purchased online here in the registration section.
Yes. Free parking is available within the Gunnedah CBD including Conadilly Street and Chandos Street. (Visitor tip: Parking is rear end in, unless otherwise signed)
Yes. The Gunnedah Town Hall is a ground level, accessibility friendly venue, with wheelchair accessibility from the Conadilly Street entrance. Accessible amenities are located on site. Free accessible parking is also available around the conference venue.
If you are no longer able to attend a substitute delegate is welcome at no additional charge up to 01 November 2023. Booking changes must be made in writing to debrahilton@infogunnedah.com.au.

Our Speakers have been finalised and we are currently building the Program. We will have it available here on Eventbrite and on our Conference website by 30 August. Speakers and their session topics is listed above in the description of the conference.

Nearest airports are at Tamworth and Narrabri. Tamworth is the closest (71 klms and approx 40 minutes from Gunnedah). Narrabri is 91klm and approx 50 mins from Gunnedah) A number of carriers operate to and from both airports.
