This engaging, practical, tip filled and small group workshop is one of our most popular workshops - designed for parents/carers of children who experience anxiety.

Suitable for parents with children in treatment for anxiety disorders, as well as for parents of children without any diagnosed disorder.

This workshop is evidence based, underpinned by gold standard interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Positive Parenting and Attachment Theory.

Time: 9.30am-1.30pm

The workshop runs for approx 4 hours, a break that includes a late morning tea is provided.

Getting here and parking

✅ We are located a short walk from NORWEST METRO station. There is a bus stop outside. Parking is freely available on-site most weekends, during weekdays parking is limited - the nearby shopping centre is free for 2 hours, andfree street parking is available with a 10-15 minute walk to the practice.

It’s for parents of children who struggle with anxiety, whether mild or severe. It will offer tools to support children in managing their emotions, fears, and stress.

What will I learn in this workshop?

You’ll learn about the signs of anxiety in children, strategies to calm and reassure them, ways to foster emotional regulation, and how to build a supportive home environment.

Do I need any prior knowledge?

No prior knowledge is required. The workshop is accessible for parents with all levels of understanding of anxiety in children.

Will there be resources provided?

Yes, you will receive a resource pack that includes tips, worksheets, and further reading to help continue supporting your child after the workshop.

Can I ask questions during the workshop?

Absolutely! There will be a dedicated Q&A portion where you can ask specific questions about your child's anxiety.

If you cancel more than 14 days before the workshop start date, you are eligible for a full refund or a credit towards a future workshop.

Cancellation Less Than 14 Days Before the Workshop

Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop are non-refundable. However, we may offer a credit towards a future workshop in certain circumstances.

If you do not attend the workshop and have not notified us in advance, no refund or credit will be provided.
