Want to learn how to draw your favourite cartoon and pop culture characters? These school holidays, we are hosting a special workshop that will take you through the fundamentals of creating your own stylised cartoon art using fan favourite characters! This mixed media/marker class will be driven by imagination and inspiration, weaving in mini tutorials on how to colour and shade with markers and plan out how to use pictures as references for your character sketches. The 1.5-hour hands-on workshop is perfect for kids and teens who love cartoons, comics, and pop culture! Led by artist Kat, this beginner-to-intermediate class will teach you how to draw your favourite cartoon characters and design your own in a fun, engaging way.

Using traditional sketching tools, markers, coloured pencils and fineliners, participants will learn how to use reference images, develop cartoon proportions, add expression, and apply colour and shading techniques to bring characters to life.

Refunds are available through Eventbrite up to 7 days before the event. As this is a ticketed event, refunds cannot be issued within 7 days of the event due to the difficulty of reselling the ticket at short notice. Tickets are non-transferable to another date.
