Focusing on the core topics of Crime and Human Rights, this workshop will provide students with an opportunity to review the Year 12 Legal Studies course with a specific focus on developing skills in responding to multiple choice, short answer and extended response questions. The workshop will provide students with an opportunity to deconstruct questions and delve into the components of what makes a strong response.

The workshop will recap significant cases that support each element of the Crime and Human Rights topics.

Please bring a charged laptop, lunch, and a water bottle.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

ROANNE has over 15 years experience teaching the Year 12 Legal Studies course. She is an experienced HSC marker and has acted as a Head of Department in a leading Sydney independent school. Her adopted teaching strategies have seen students significantly improve their results in Legal Studies, and she ensures all her students are well equipped with effective study techniques tailored for the Legal Studies course.

ABOUT THE VENUE:

HABERFIELD LIBRARY is accessible from street level and has a lift inside the library to access the upper level.
