With UMAT suddenly replaced by UCAT, we can imagine everyone is stressing out about the unknown. The good news is that you don't need to stress anymore. iCanMed has anticipated the change and has already completely dissected the UKCAT (the UK version of UCAT) and is taking 2.5 hours to run through all the key things you need to know about this upcoming test!
We will be:
- Explaining what the UCAT is (the differences and similarities with UMAT)
- Going through how scoring works and what's required to achieve 90th percentile or more
- How universities will be using UCAT now as a selection tool
- Section by section dissection of what each of the five sections involves
- LIVE demonstration of how a sample UCAT question can be solved
- Preparation strategies for the summer holidays
iCanMed is all about making sure that all students receive the best advice, recommendations and strategies for UCAT preparation. With over 600 past students currently studying medicine across medical schools in NZ and Australia, a team of assessment writers, educators and former medical school selectors, learning about the UCAT and gaining acceptance has never been this straightforward.
Organised by
iCanMed was born out of the need for an efficient, effective and simple way of being accepted into medicine.
We represent a panel of educators, interviewers, and tutors who address the questions, concerns, and struggles of UCAT and interview preparation by providing honest, constructive advice to get you on top of the game. Check out our website here: http://www.icanmed.com.au
