About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour 45 minutes
Sydney's best-rated, longest and wildest comedy battle show! Come see the hype that is the 'Cagefight' as comedians compete for comedy glory.
This is the wildest, most unpredictable and hilarious comedy show in Sydney!
**You will be laughing nonstop at this epic comedy night.**
We pit Sydney comedians against each other and they use their wits and improv comedy skills to generate nonstop laughs.
What the show is like
- This show has been running weekly for over four years, making it Sydney's oldest and most successful weekly comedy show
- Our crowd size is generally 40 - 100 people, and we have a MeetUp event beforehand if you'd like to come solo and meet new people.
How it works
- The audience picks on the comedians, not the other way around - which means you can bring your date or your mate without fear of being picked on!
- The Cagefight prides itself on an inclusive vibe - our show is hilarious and playful, without being mean to anyone
- Audiences vote on their favourite comedians - the winners perform again
This show is almost like a mishmash between the tv shows 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' and 'Thank God You're Here'.
This show is awesome for those who love constant laughs, improv, Theatresports, stand-up comedy and unpredictable shows that are jam-packed full of jokes.
Google Review: My friend invited me to attend one of these improv comedy battles recently. It is an inexpensive, fun night to support comedians. A lot of people enjoyed the comedians interacting with audience and encouraging audience participation!
Still unsure? Check out our Google Reviews - thousands of people come to our show every year and have an awesome time.
Bonus: Comedy Class & Comedy Show Combo Deal

Frequently asked questions
Yes, The Bank has awesome food! They have great food options, plus every few months they change their menu so there's always something delicious and new to eat. We love The Bank's food!
Yes there's a break during the show. It is generally around 15 minutes, which is plenty of time to grab a drink, chat to your mates (or date!), and soak in the vibe.
Around 2 hours. We put 9:15 as the end time, but sometimes the show can go for a little longer. You're welcome to leave at intermission, or any time really - it's easy to dart out of the room without creating a fuss. We know how important everyone's sleep is and we aren't offended!
Absolutely! Sometimes we have families coming to the show. Sometimes school groups (mostly year 10 and upwards) want to come and check out the show. All are welcome. They can get food, but of course under 18s can't get booze! If you have a big school group coming, please contact us.
It is, assuming The Bank's elevator works. We strongly recommend calling The Bank to ensure that this is the case. The Cagefight team doesn't work directly for The Bank, so best to check in with them to ensure accessibility.
Sure is! If you'd like to bring a large group (over 10 people), we suggest you contact us via dave@sydneycomedyschool.com.au.
All refunds are processed via Eventbrite - so you'll need to request a refund that way. The good news is that it's often automatic when you arrange your refund in advance. If you try to arrange your refund just before the show, it might not be possible to refund you.
Again, you can send us a message via Eventbrite and let us know. We might not be able to issue a refund, but we can arrange for you to attend the next week's show. We trust that's a suitable compromise for you - and will be keen to see you at the show!
