A crankie is a moving panorama storyboard—a fun, hand-cranked paper scroll that brings stories to life! In this hands-on workshop, kids aged 7-12 will explore storytelling, sketch their own storyboards, and transform them into a working crankie theatre. By assembling their crankie box and turning the handles, they’ll see their tales unfold, one scene at a time.Let your imagination roll—literally!


Date: Monday 14 April

Time: 2-3.30pm (Please arrive 10 minutes early)

Location: Learning Lab, Level 2, Harry Bailey Memorial Library, Yarrila Place

Audience: Children aged 7-12 (please note: parents are required to remain in Yarrila Place for the duration of the program.)

Cost: Free, bookings required.
