Join Nursery Coordinator Ben Webb for a guided tour through the native botanic gardens and nursery at IndigiScapes, Redland City Council's Environment Centre.

Ben will guide you through the themed gardens ,where you will learn how to create pollinator attracting native habitat in your own garden and participate in capturing insect observations using iNaturalist alongside Council Environmental Partnerships officers.

8am: Meet at the Centre for an introduction to the iNaturalist App and overview of flora and fauna identification. Please bring your phone and download the iNaturalist app.

8.30am: Guided tour of the botanic gardens to learn about the different habitats and how they support pollinators, with observations and relevant data capture

9.30am: Nursery tour encompassing discussion about pollinator packs and planting/creating habitat in your backyard

10am: Pollinator morning tea, plant sales and advice

This free workshop is suitable for adults.

We recommend that you wear enclosed shoes, bring sun protection, including a hat.
