INDUSTRIAL LANDSCAPE DRAWINGS (mixed media) for 9 – 14-year-olds

Skye Zaracostas – artist and educator

Join us for an inspiring student workshop where we’ll dive into the world of industrial landscapes through mixed media art! Using inspiration from the Gallery’s collection and a combination of painting, collage, and texture techniques, students will create dynamic artworks that capture the beauty and grit of local urban and industrial scenes. Guided by experienced instructors, participants will experiment with layering, composition, and perspective to bring their unique visions to life.

10am – 3pm

$55 + booking fee

Please note:

  • At least 8 participants are required to run this workshop.
  • Students must bring their morning tea and lunch. Please ensure all food is nut free. All other materials will be provided.
  • Please ensure your child is wearing fully covered shoes.
  • We will cancel the tour by 1pm the day before if the minimum participants to proceed with the tour are not met. Participants will be contacted via email.
  • Tickets are non-transferrable. If you no longer need your ticket, please contact us to arrange a refund.

Located on Dharawal Country, Wollongong Art Gallery is one of the largest regional art museums in Australia.

Entry is free and we are open Tuesday to Friday 10am – 5pm, and Saturday to Sunday 12pm – 4pm (excluding public holidays).

We present an exciting range of exhibitions and activities that showcase the energy and creativity of the Illawarra region, as well as touring exhibitions of national and international significance. Our diverse and growing permanent Collection features important Australian, Aboriginal, Asian and contemporary art.

We welcome everyone to visit the Gallery and explore our range of exhibitions, events, activities, and workshops designed for all ages and abilities.
