About this event

The Initial Assessment and Referral Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) provides an evidence based tool for conducting initial assessment and referral of individuals presenting with mental health conditions in primary health care settings within Australia.

People seeking mental health support may present with a range of interrelated factors that can make it challenging to determine the most appropriate level of stepped care. The IAR provides a standardised, evidence-based and objective approach to assist with mental health care recommendations.

Please note: this training is for people within the Country to Coast Queensland PHN region. Please contact your PHN for information for IAR training in your region.
