Join the experts from Inspired Education Australia trainers, hosted with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in this full-day, all-inclusive, curriculum aligned, professional development on Inspiring Education series of workshops - Brisbane & Gold Coast, suitable for Queensland School Teachers (K-12), HODs and Leadership. Take control of these industry technologies through the essential knowledge components followed by hands on skills and applications centred around task-based activity and classroom integration with suitable teaching strategies. No pre-requisite knowledge required for Day 1, however Day 2 will require foundational design thinking skills to succeed!

- Introduction to AI technology, global trends, current industry status and relatedness to Australian education.
- 2025 and outlook on AI requirements and technology evolution with relations to other emerging technologies such as Spatial Computing and Quantum.
- Designing prompt engineering techniques for the classroom context with steps for advanced prompts and safe AI implementation / installation.
- Hands-on practice with AI classroom / Australian school setting tools across a variety of AI tools that incorporate building subject tailored chat bots, text to image, text to video, text to presentation, sketch to image etc.
- Workshopping educational uses of AI tools integration for modern teaching.
- Ethical considerations in AI / Pros and Cons & exploring the future of AI and its implications for education.
16 MAY: Design Thinking (Advanced - with AI) Not for the beginner teachers!
- Learn how to guide key stakeholders in the process of design thinking in a co-creative, critical challenge.
- Increase the breadth of your design thinking knowledge by learning advanced approaches to human centered design.
- United Nation’s SDG integration into critical problem solving – aligning with tertiary education's critical thinking requirements.
- Use & Integrate AI tools into design thinking activities in the classroom with Prompt Engineering Skills and visualisation skills.*
- Advanced mapping and visualisation techniques.
- Integration of rapid ideation and prototyping, built on foundational design thinking approach.
- Set up practices for training peers towards advanced design thinking skills development for teaching.
- Lo-fi prototyping ideas and how to advance from lo-fi prototyping to hi-fidelity prototyping in classrooms.
Both days will incorporate: Q&A Session with trainer/s, Ongoing email support with supporting learning material and digital resources, toolkits, guides and all presentation content shared digitally.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All attending teachers must have their own AI Tools & account/s. Make sure the software is installed and tested on their own BYO preferred device ready to use. We highly recommend attending teachers to speak to the IT department for advice and usage parameters / log-ins on your own device with the own mouse for use. If you are a teacher from the Queensland Department of Education, it is suitable to bring a personal device (i.e. laptop) to use various tools.
