International Student Meet Ups
The Welcome Centre will play host to International Student meet ups each day in Week 1 of Term 1, 2024! These meet ups are informal and a casual opportunity for you to make some new friends whilst you enjoy some free food and lawn games. Don't forget to show us where you might call home on our push pin world map in the Welcome Centre! Our Cultural Mentors will also be there to answer any questions you may have and ensure you are all ready to go to start the Term.

Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm each day
Location: International Student Welcome Centre, Anita B. Lawrence Centre - East Wing (map reference H13).
Please note that there may be building works happening at the front entrance so you can enter through the side or the back of the Welcome Centre.
Food: An assortment of finger sandwiches, wraps and rice paper rolls will be available along with Australian staples such as meat pies and other Aussie snacks for you to try.
Unfortunately, we cannot cater for individual dietary requirements; however, there will be a range of halal, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, nut free and gluten free options as well. You can also bring your own food if you prefer!
Please note that you can only register for ONE of the above dates with only ONE ticket per person. Please do not register for more than one ticket to ensure as many students can participate as possible. Breach of this may result in your ticket being cancelled.
Spaces are limited and if you are no longer able to attend, please make sure you cancel your ticket through Eventbrite so that someone else can take your place.
