About this event

Hand-building is one of the oldest techniques. It has been known since ancient times that working with clay brings many emotional and physical benefits. When we build with our hands, we are out of our heads, and we focus on the present, thus calming our stress and anxiety. It also helps to increase mindfulness and promote emotional regulation. When individuals come together for group projects, they learn how to collaborate, communicate, and problem-solve, and they create a wonderful community of ceramic friends!
