About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

iThenticate is a text-matching tool designed for researchers which can be useful for avoiding citation errors and accidental plagiarism, managing self-citation, managing copyright permissions.

This 90 minute session will introduce the software platform and discuss how it works. We will also work through some basic processes, such as how to upload files, how to set filters, and how to interpret reports.

You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with the platform prior to the workshop. Graduate researchers should have an account automatically created. Staff should write to ithenticate@latrobe.edu.au if they wish to have an account created for them in time for the session. You may attend even if you do not have an active account, but the workshop will be most useful if you can participate in hands on activities.
