About this event

Drawing amongst the colonnades and Roman features of the public piazza - observe key architectural elements of the Forum and learn to use line, shape and colour to simplify and help you explore your personal response to this space through the medium of pencil and pen.

Look at framing and composition and see how you can use classical proportions and elements to give definition to your drawings. Add a Tuscan colour palette to your works to enhance them and link them strongly to place.

Observe architecture ‘in action’ as part of a community, record these traces of daily life.
