1, The upstairs floor will be opened up. ( The upstairs -floor seats offer a good view of the stage and the venue, as well as the opportunity to sit down and watch the event in a relaxed atmosphere.)

１，２階のフロアーを開放します。（２階席からはステージや会場の見晴らしがよく、また、席に座って落ち着いて鑑賞することが出来ます。）

I was born as the third generation successor of my Japanese traditional art school.

I made my first debut on stage at the age of three. Ever since then, I have inherited my school’s traditional spirits and learned the traditional “Gin-Ken-Shibu” skills which were passed on within my school from generation to generation.

In order to develop this traditional Japanese art and ensure the survival of it, I, Ryuou Arai, will spread the beauty and elegance of this Japanese traditional art to the world as the third generation successor of my Japanese traditional art school.

Learn More

Masaya Kamei was brought to worldwide attention in 2022 at the Long-Thibaud International Competition in France where he won First Prize and Audience Award. Also, he won the third prize at the Maria Canals International Piano Competition and became a semifinalist at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022. He gained recognition in Japan when he won First Prize at the 43rd PTNA Piano Competition and the 88th Music Competition of Japan at the same time in 2019.

In 2024, he was awarded the Chopin Society of Japan Prize.
