You will have a wonderful Kimono experience in our Japanese tea room. You will feel like you are in Japan in the CBD of Hobart!
You will be dressed in a Kimono (Please be aware that due to limited availability of Kimono sizes, you may be provided with a Yukata-summer light cotton casual Kimono instead).
After dressing, you will learn how to stand,walk,sit and present yourself with the correct etiquette when wearing Kimono. You will also learn about the materials and patterns that are essential to understand this beautiful art form. Photos are allowed.
You can experience this by yourself or with your mother/daughter, friends and have a beautiful moment in time together.
- Please wear/bring white socks if you have. If not, just wear/bring clean socks.
The venue is located behind Legacy House in 159 Macquarie Street. Please walk down the lane way beside Legacy House and take the external stairs to the first floor of the rear building.
