We just💗 love 💗 expressing creativity, and we love encouraging everyone to find their own creative expression.
So join us for a kid's free paint session (4 - 12 years old)! 🖌️
Participants will be provided with arts materials (including 1 canvas as well as acrylic paints and paintbrushes to use throughout the session).
But what you paint is up to your own imagination! In this session, the artist chooses the subject to create an amazing art project. 🖼️
Our experienced workshop facilitator will be on hand to refresh your brush cleaner, swap out brushes and keep the area tidy throughout the session, but that's as far as we'll go. We encourage you to paint what you want in this session!
And feel free to paint at your own pace! You can use the whole 45 minutes of the session, taking your time to craft your project, or paint at a quicker pace and then move on to your next holiday plans outside the Curate studio. How you use the session time is up to you! 👩🎨
This new painting session for 2025 is sure to be popular with the community, so get ready to book in quick to use your creativity! 👌
Please Note: Doors only open 10 minutes prior to the workshop's commencement.

Parking
There are several parking options for the 63 Grantham Street Curate Studio.
There is a carpark located just before 53 Grantham Street, that serves the row of shopfronts in which we are located (there is a photo lab, hair stylist, etc. all in the same row of shops).
Street parking is also available in front of 63 Grantham; however, it does act as a clearway at times, so please check the parking signs first before parking there to avoid being ticketed.
Street parking is available on Marlow Street, too. Please be mindful of the parking signs.
And, finally, there is a Town of Cambridge - Grantham Street Car Park located behind MUMMUC and Monsterella Pizza (access points include Griffiths Lane and Jersey Street).
Road Safety
Whether you arrive solo or you come with a mate, we’re teaming up this year with the @roadsafetycommission_wa to help make sure every WOW Festival wanderer gets there safely. 🚗
Here are some handy tips to help make your trip to and from the festival safer:
⚠️ Speeding is never safe. Speed increases the risk of having a crash, as well as the severity of the crash.
⚠️ The faster you go, the longer it takes to stop. A typical stopping distance when travelling at 30km/h on a reasonable road surface is 19 metres. At 40km/h, the stopping distance increases to 27 metres.
⚠️ If a car hits a pedestrian at 50km/h, the impact is twice as likely to cause death than if the car had been travelling at 40km/h.
Fine Print
Please note that photographs and videos may be taken of the event for promotional purposes only (including social media).
In accordance with hygiene requirements, hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use, too, in order to help ensure the safety of staff, artists and guests.
If required, COVID restrictions and/or adjustments may be made, in accordance with current health requirements.
We ask that all children under 13 years of age are accompanied by a parent and/or responsible caregiver.
