We warmly welcome you to bring your drums, percussion, and any musical instruments you'd like to share—whether you're a seasoned musician or simply feel called to contribute to the rhythm. No prior experience is needed; this is a participatory celebration where all voices and sounds blend into a harmonious offering. The Vortex Healing Centre provides a nurturing, serene environment, amplifying the energy of our collective intention.


Expect a day filled with soul-stirring call-and-response chants, moments of quiet reflection, and the infectious energy of live music. Whether you're seeking spiritual connection, stress relief, or simply the joy of singing and playing together, this kirtan is open to all. We are located at 215 Dalmayne Road, Gray TAS 7215. From St Marys, Turn up Gray Road at the Pub, follow the road approx 7 km (it becomes Elephant Pass Road), Turn right onto Dalmayne Road (BIG blue & gold sign at corner). Parking Options?

Parking is avail along the street or turn into Vortex, make a clockwise loop and park under the Blackwood tree. For wheelchair access or limited mobility issues, continue along the driveway and park in front of the yurt.

Do I need to bring anything to the kirtan?

You're welcome to bring a cushion or mat for floor seating, water bottle, warm clothes or shawls. No prior experience or materials are needed, just an open heart!

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable layered clothing, anticipate cool spots and heat surges.

Can children attend?

This event is family-friendly.

Is food or drink provided?

We will do a shared meal after the kirtan, feel free to bring your favourite foods especially if you have specific dietary needs.

Can I arrive late or leave early?

While it's best to arrive on time to fully experience the event, please be quiet if you arrive late, or need to leave early to minimize disturbance of those around you.
