About this event

Tickets are $50 per person with proceeds donated to the Queensland section of the Roval Flying Doctor Service QLD.

By purchasing a ticket you go in the draw to win one of 3 cash prizes.

Check in from Friday 29 August 5:30pm at King reef resort pub or on the Saturday morning from 5am.

Raffles at King reef resort Kurrimine commence 5:30pm Friday and at Karumba Sunset tavern on Saturday evening.

MAIN RIDE TO KARUMBA

Stands up King Reef Hotel Kurrimine Beach 30 August 2025 at 6am

The approximate 740km will conclude at the Sunset Hotel Karumba.

Fuel stops:

Kurrimine to Mount Garnet 160km (morning tea)

Mount Garnet to Mount Surprise 112kms

Mount Surprise to Georgetown 92kms

Georgetown to Croydon 148kms

Croydon to Normanton 152kms

Normanton to Karumba 76kms


Riders are asked to remain in Normanton until all riders arrive. Freedom riders will then lead the ride into Karumba


We recommend each rider to have roadside assistance as back up and also appropriate riding gear including for wet weather.

Accommodation on both the east and west coasts are the responsibility of the individual riders.

Safety and personal belongings

Everyone is responsible for their own actions, bike, belongings, safety and wellbeing.

What if my bike breaks down?

In the event of a breakdown there will be a support vehicle which will take riders and their bike to the next town

My bike has broken down. Can I still come if I drive?

Of course you can! Be more fun on a motorbike but more than welcome to drive

Should I bring wet weather gear?

Yes, be prepared for all conditions.
