Latrobe City Council have worked with community members to co-design the Latrobe Sport, Recreation & Movement Expo to promote local opportunities for community members to be active and move their body.
Council is currently seeking Expression of Interest from clubs and groups that encourage and support the community to move. All stallholders on the day will go into the draw to win a $500 Intersport Traralgon voucher.
This event aims to attract over 40 stallholders and up to 1000 attendees on the day.
Event details:
Date: Sunday 2 February 2025
Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm (Stallholders will have access from 8:30am)
Location: Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium (GRISS), Catterick Cres, Traralgon VIC 3844
Purpose: To connect community members with local sport clubs, recreation clubs, and groups that encourage movement, as a way of promoting both physical and social connection opportunities in Latrobe. This will include all abilities opportunities for people with a disability and sport and recreation clubs/groups that are inclusive and accessible for all community members.
Target audience: Children, families, young people and people with a disability with a target age range of 5-25 years.
Stallholders are encouraged to create an interactive stall where possible. This can assist to draw people over to talk to you about your club and how they can get involved. There will be the opportunity for clubs to be involved in come and try activities that will be timetabled throughout the day.
A detailed Stallholder Information Pack will be emailed to you a few weeks before the event.
Stallholder registration places are limited and close on Friday 6 December 2024, unless booked out sooner.

The site selected has the following:
· Wheelchair accessible
· Accessible toilets and Changing Places Toilet
· Accessible parking
· Portable Assistive Listening System (please let us know if needed in advance)

Public Liability Insurance
All stallholders are required to have current public liability insurance on the day of the event. If you need to purchase insurance, you may consider buying a once-off 'Community Liability Pack Section B'. Email alisha.brooks@latrobe.vic.gov.au for more information and to check your eligibility. You can come back here and purchase the insurance separately.
Working with Children Check
All stallholders are required to have a current Working with Children Check. The Working with Children Check is a screening process for assessing or re-assessing people who work with or care for children in Victoria.
