    Celebrate Disability Pride Month with a discussion about disability, accessibility and representation in books and films.

    Laura Pettenuzzo is a writer and bibliophile. She has cerebral palsy and psychosocial disability and she is passionate about access and inclusion.

    Laura currently works with the Youth Disability Advocacy Service to create plain language and Easy English content, and is on the Victorian Disability Advisory Council. Her words have appeared in places including ABC, SBS, The Age and Griffith Review.

    Renay Barker-Mulholland is a proudly disabled, Biripi / Dunghutti woman. Renay is a visual artist, writer, disability and gender justice advocate.

    Contact Coburg Library a week prior to the event if you have any access needs. The Coburg Library meeting room has an inbuilt hearing loop and a personal radio frequency (RF) hearing assistance system is available upon request. The library is also wheelchair accessible. Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.
