What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle transformative healing system that empowers you to use universal life force energy to bring about balance and healing to yourself, your loved ones and even to your pets!

Reiki Level 1 is the beginning of a gentle yet deeply transformative healing journey where you will learn how to use universal life force energy to bring about balance and healing into your life.

During this workshop, you will receive 4 Reiki energy attunements that will help to deepen your ability to channel Reiki energy for healing, plus you will be shown how to practice a self-healing method based on the Usui system of Reiki.

In this Reiki 1 course you will learn

  • The History of Reiki
  • An understanding the Universal Life Force energy and how Reiki works
  • The benefits of Reiki on our mind, body and spirit
  • Reiki Hand placements for both self-healing and the healing of others
  • Discussion of the Chakra and Aura system.
  • How to give Reiki to your animals
  • How to use Reiki to energise your water, your food and your environment

What to bring

All course material is provided; you will receive an illustrated Reiki manual that outlines all the workshop theory and practices. Please bring your own lunch and any snacks you may require.

NOTE: This workshop is conducted as a single day immersion

What happens after Reiki 1?

Reiki 1 is the first level of the Reiki system and is followed by Reiki 2 and then Reiki Master-Teacher training. If you are interested in operating your own professional Reiki healing based business then Reiki 2 level is the minimum standard.

Reiki Master -Teacher training is for those that wish to teach Reiki to others or who wish to experience a deeply transformative life as you embrace the daily benefits of Reiki.

Ioanna is an professional experienced master -teacher with over 15 years of teaching practice. She has attuned and taught over 150 students including 5 Master-Teachers from her clinic in Melbourne's Bayside suburb of Cheltenham. She is a teaching member of Australian Reiki Connection, a professional industry association for Reiki and as such you can be assured that your certificate will be recognised and will meet industry standards in Australia.
