Learn stand-up comedy in Adelaide over 5-evenings from Sunday to Thursday, 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, from June 1 to 5, 2025. You’ll get the Hard Knock Knocks comedy manual, our complementary online course, video of your graduating performance, professional headshots for future marketing, and loads of one-on-one coaching from our resident comedy coach, Bradford Oakes, our returning alumnus, Zack Southern and celebrity comedian, Big Al!

Previous graduates have gone on to perform at comedy festivals, win Raw Comedy, compete in Australia's Got Talent, and perform across Australia as professional comedians.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get a video of my performance?

You certainly do. We have five cameras filming your graduation, so the final performance looks like a Netflix special.

Do I get professional headshot photos?

Yep! Although we call them 'mid shots', as we take photos that will be used for your next comedy festival poster.

The Hard Knock Knocks produces comedy festival shows and is Australia's biggest developer of new stand-up comedians. Founded in 2016, the company has trained over 700 comedy students in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Wagga Wagga and Geelong and has produced multiple shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe.

Hard Knock Knocks also produced 'Is This Thing On?', a factual comedy-drama following 10 nervous nobodies endeavouring to become confident comedians, with the help of some of Australia's most iconic comedians.
