ABOUT SELF MADE GIRLS
BUILD…Each participant creates their own product line or service business and starts their own business.
As examples for products participants can create fashion, accessories, greeting cards, stationary, soaps, oils, home decor and more. For services students have created dog washing, lemonade/drink stands, baking, gardening.
OWN…Participants learn biz skills such as branding, advertising, logo creation, marketing, cost and profit and walk away with a complete business plan and marketing launch plan.
They then get the opportunity to “pitch” their business idea to gain public speaking experience.
EARN…At the end of the program, participants host a pop-up store learning how to engage with customers. For Virtual/Zoom participants learn to make a zoom event for friends and family where they can show their products and take orders. Students keep their all their earnings.
