Collographs Printing Magic with Maryke Dobe

Explore the richly layered art of botanical collagraphs with experienced printmaker Maryke Dobe.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to create textured collograph plates using drawn and real botanical elements, then transfer your images to paper—no mirror image required.

Maryke is a wonderful teacher this workshop promises to be a great experience.

Guided step-by-step, you’ll create two collograph plates and a small edition of prints for each.

You’ll also learn how to:

• Build texture with thin, collaged materials
• Cut into the plate to create tones
• Add colour with sponges for painterly effects
• Take home a unique set of vibrant, botanical-inspired prints
• All materials provided
• Limited to 8 participants for personal guidance
