Let's Go Bug Hunting

Let's check out the creatures that live in the catchment of the Lane Cove River!

Dip a net for aquatic creatures living in the creeks connecting to the river and sift through leaf litter to uncover a whole world of bugs which lie beneath.

The dip-netting activity is part of the Water Bug Blitz, a national Citizen Science program. All equipment and guidance provided by Council.

All children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times.
