Most Saturday mornings you'll find a team of Carers & Repairers down at the Library of Stuff share shed. Keeping our stuff of over 1000 items in sharable condition takes a village! That's why we are a Co op.
THIS SATURDAY CARE & REPAIR 'BEE involves looking after our gardening tools and deciding if any should be moved on and if there are any gardening tools missing from the inventory. Our Co operative splits the management of the shared assets amongst a number of 'crews' and these members have authority to grow their category as they wish.
Please arrive at 8.15 for an 8.30 start.
Members register for activities like these on Saturday mornings, Friday afternoons and during our opening times on Tuesday 8-10am and Thursday 3-5pm to cover their time commitment of 5 hours per month. This dedication ensures our sharing can support local schools and non profit orgs and their events (these lenders do not need to give time in return for borrowing). Members also get access to borrow items from the Library's inventory for their own personal use:)
This is a free event but registration is essential.
