L ight and Colour Workshop
Have luminous fun exploring science and designing colourful creations in this hands-on 25 minute STEM Session! Experiment with colour perception, light devices and ingenious methods of colour mixing.
Open Day Overview
On Sunday 13 October you will have a rare chance to go behind the scenes of this state-of-the-art facility and experience these scientific wonders first-hand.
Please allow approximately two hours for your Synchrotron experience. In this time you will have the chance to:
- Learn how the Synchrotron works and the amazing research it enables.
- Take a guided tour inside the Synchrotron and meet our scientists along the way.
- Unwind in our cafe and picnic areas, where you can listen to live interviews with Australian Synchrotron staff while children enjoy one of our exciting 25-minute science workshops.
