About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Capturing the essence of your loved ones in videos is a precious gift, whether it’s Grandpa's dance moves, an uncle’s infectious laughter, or toasts from your parents' wedding. Led by Emmy-Award-winning filmmaker Elyse Neiman Seiter, this evening will explore the craft of creating compelling home videos and interviews that preserve your family's legacy for future generations.

Whether you're a novice or experienced in video production, this program equips you with essential skills and confidence. We’ll cover interview techniques, filming basics, the storytelling process, video editing, and the art of building a lasting legacy.

Elyse Neiman Seiter is an Emmy award winning TV producer (MTV’s “True Life”), director, and filmmaker with two decades of professional experience in non-fiction TV and film. Her production company, Mindful Films, documents and shares personal stories of illness, healing, and end-of-life.
