This course will explore the printmaking medium of linocut to print multi-colour relief prints.

Participants will learn the reduction linocut method to create a multi-colour original print - including techniques to transfer their images onto the block, carving methods, ink preparation and rolling, and registration methods for printing.

In this course, participants will learn how to print using an etching press and an antique Albion and/or Columbian press to create their own original linocut prints.
