Join us for an exciting and enriching conference designed for teacher librarians, primary and secondary teachers and children’s librarians where we explore the power of the picture. This conference will focus on how imagery, whether in picture books, comics, graphic novels or Library collections, enhances learning, comprehension and engagement for readers of all ages.
Through keynote sessions, small group workshops and tours, attendees will learn how to harness the power of visual storytelling to support literacy development, foster critical thinking and cultivate creativity in children and young people.
We are thrilled to announce that Kirli Saunders, Stephen Michael King and Corey Tutt will be this year's keynote speakers!
Whether you’re a teacher looking to inspire your students or a librarian in a public library, this conference will provide you with tools, ideas and a greater appreciation for the role of images in teaching and learning.
