  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join this session led by an Aboriginal Education Worker and learn about Tasmanian Aboriginal kelp water carriers. You'll get to make your own to take home using bull kelp. Adults are welcome to join in and make a water carrier to take home. Please register everyone who would like to make a water carrier. Ages 7 and over.


Parking:

Parking is available behind the library building in Skinner Drive. Please check signage for parking times.


To ensure a successful event, please:

Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else

• Don't attend if you are unwell

• Follow hygiene practices eg. hand sanitising

• Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you.


Accessibility:

• 2 permit mobility parking spaces in the Skinner Drive carpark.

• Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs

• Accessible toilet with a change table for children
