We are back again for another year! 🍿📽️👏

Marion Libraries is once again giving local filmmakers the chance to showcase their films on the big screen at the Marion Cultural Centre's Domain Theatre!

We had a great group of submissions last year and now we are on the hunt for more.

All recorded media is welcome so submit your animations, documentaries, silent films, soap operas, puppetry, recorded live performances - anything that will entertain our audience!

We welcome submissions from all ages and skill levels. We can't wait to see what you come up with this year.

Just want to watch? Join the audience and vote for your favourite film.

We will close out the afternoon with an awards ceremony celebrating the audience's favourite film!

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to submit a film to attend?

No, anyone is welcome to join the audience!

How long can my short film be?

Your film can run up to 10 minutes.

What classification rating can my short film have?

Your film can include the themes and impact of a G or PG-rated film. As an event for the community we want to encourage content that is appropriate for all. Leave us a note in your submission if you are unsure about your film's rating.

How many short films can I submit?

Depending on the number of submissions we receive we may only be able to screen 1 film per director. However, you are welcome to submit up to 3 films - but know we may have to select your best 1 to screen.
