In this very special event, we are inviting two fellow business owners: Takeshi from Sabo Tea Atelier and Ally from Solomou Ceramics.
While Takeshi will be providing organic Japanese Matcha sourced directly from small-scale tea farms in Japan, you will be enjoying the drink in Ally's handmade ceramic matcha bowls, specially made for matcha preparation and enjoyment.
The journey will bring you behind the scenes of Matcha harvesting, as well as the craftsmanship behind Solomou Ceramics, directly inspired by Japanese techniques. This will lead you to your own experience consuming matcha, in a friendly intimate setting, with 3 matching small treats made by Cédric. Whether you are a seasoned matcha addict or simply curious, willing to expand your knowledge about this traditional Japanese beverage and learn how to reproduce it at home, this event is for you!
Cedric's handmade matching treats will bring our love for Japanese flavours combined with our French patisserie flair, now enhanced with the latest techniques Cedric has practiced in 2024. This new edition will feature new treats adapted to the season, with exclusive creations only made for this event.
This in-person event promises to be a treat for your taste buds and a fun way to explore the world of matcha. Come join us for an afternoon of culinary delights and good company!
In this new era of matcha popularity, we're also packing a lot of information to empower each attendee in their matcha consumption journey, tackling beliefs and stories and taking away the fluff to bring the essential information we all need to source and enjoy high-quality matcha. One of our last event attendees said: "I didn't think I would love matcha that much, everyone needs to do this event before they start drinking matcha!"
This event is limited to up to 8 attendees so we can ensure the best atmosphere and will take place at our shop after closing time.
Teas and bowls will be available to purchase after the event, should you wish to bring them home and reproduce the experience.
