About this event

The McCusker Centre for Citizenship at UWA offers students opportunities to make meaningful contributions to work in the public sector, local governments, and regional development commissions through our award-winning internship program. Since the program began in 2016, more than 600 internships have been undertaken across these sectors.

This webinar is a chance to find out more about the program and how you can get involved as a host, gaining 100 hours of support from a UWA student intern for your project.

About the internship program:

The McCusker Centre for Citizenship partners with more than 500 not-for-profit, community, and government organisations to provide a structured, high-quality internship program for UWA students. Over 3,500 students have undertaken internships through the Centre, contributing more than 350,000 hours in service to the community.

Feedback on the internship program is overwhelmingly positive, with 97% of supervisors and interns agreeing they would recommend the program to others.
