Meeting the Huon Valley - one asado at a time
We unexpectedly moved to Tasmania in 2021 - what was meant to be a 2 week trip, is now 3 years - and we're loving it. The hills, the rivers, the ocean, the food and most importantly, the people. In a short time we've met some of our dearest friends and because we've loved meeting people so much, we want to meet the rest of the Huon Valley.
This spring // summer, we're throwing semi-regular South American feasts - slow cooked delicious things over the fire.
The catch - we're inviting 12 of you at a time, with the condition you bring someone we don't know.
It's a fully catered event; 3 courses, snacks and delicious drinks. Join us to meet the Huon Valley!
Your ticket counts for you and your friend and includes a welcome cocktail and a 3 course lunch. We'll have local delicious local drinks for purchase.
We're subject to the weather gods - we'll let you know a week in advance if we'll go ahead or postpone.
Note: we'd love to have a universally accessible site, however the location of the event is at the bottom of a very steep hill and you have to be prepared to walk to access the site.
