Breakfast: will feature 3 keynote speakers followed by a Q&A segment where attendees can ask questions of the panellists.
Workshop: John Broadbent will lead attendees in an engaging half day workshop into the opportunities digital transformation can offer.
Keynote speakers:
- Do more with less. The transformation of modern manufacturing is being driven by the mantra, 'do more with less', whether it's raw materials, utilities or people. The speaker will deliver an informative and entertaining keynote to the broader manufacturing part of the business. This leads to alignment across the business through understanding the language of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, ensuring 'jargon' is minimised and terms are aligned. Delivered by John Broadbent, Director of Realise Potential.
- Your data matters a lot. Keep it private. Learn simple steps to computer security, cybersecurity, business intelligence and ethics in cybersecurity. Prevention is better than a cure. Understand the latest cyber threats and how to manage them and integrate cyber resilience into organisational culture. Delivered by Asrar Ismail, Manager Governance, Strategy and Compliance, Quality Management Australia.
- The workforce battlefield. Navigating the evolving "workforce battlefield" in manufacturing, this keynote focuses on the generational shifts, workforce well-being, and skills transformation needed to thrive in the era of AI and Industry 4.0. Drawing on recent national survey data, the presentation will highlight how manufacturers can attract younger talent, support employee well-being, and upskill workers to remain competitive. Attendees will leave with actionable insights to future-proof their workforce and drive success in a rapidly changing industry. Delivered by Retha de Villiers Scheepers, Associate Dean Research at the School of Business and Creative Industries, University of the Sunshine Coast.
