Dive into a creative world of drawing and writing to craft your very own ‘mental map’ masterpiece. Taking inspiration from Jennifer’s artistic practice and using a mix of art materials, transform your thoughts and feelings into creative collages bursting with text, photos and drawings! Jennifer is an experienced and gentle teacher, able to tailor activities to everyone’s skills and needs; leading each student to create an artwork as unique as they are, some more visual, some more wordy.

In the workshop you will:

  • draw and write about your experiences
  • choose words that represent your mood or personality
  • create drawings and text-based collage artworks

Each artwork will vary depending on the writing capabilities of the student and everyone will be encouraged to take their own direction.

Extra info: For primary school aged children 6 to 12 years. Workshops are drop and go, so parents can enjoy some me-time and a cuppa.

Bring with you: All materials supplied. Remember to wear clothes you can get messy in and bring a drink bottle of water.
