Waverley library welcomes you to come and make your own comic in this fun workshop!

Do you have a burning story inside you that you think would make a great comic?

This workshop is for artists, writers, creators, and lovers of comics!

In this workshop you will learn how to fold a mini comic, the fundamentals of comic making ie. panels, lettering, visual effects, off panel inference, personal style and storyboarding. Once the storyboard is done, you will pencil, ink and colour your comics.

Every attendee will leave with a finished comic and the skills to keep creating at home!

Siobhan is especially committed to encouraging and supporting the next generation of comic creators through workshops and visits to primary and high schools. Siobhan founded Cockatoo Comics in 2021.

Where can I park?

Waverley Library has 2 hour free parking under the library, entry via Ebley St. Alternatively there is free street parking on Denison and Ebley St after 6pm.
