Mo-Town: Movember Fundraiser

Move on up to The Leederville Precinct for MO-TOWN, the great Movember shave-off. We’re putting the fun in fundraiser, and the mo in Motown… All for a good cause!

Throughout November, we'll be raising funds for Vincent Community Shed, our local men's shed.‍

More than just woodworking - the Community Shed provides a space for activity and social connectedness, a place men (and women!) to meet new friends and have a sense of purpose in their local communities.

$2 from the sale of every pint of Guinness and every Mo-Jito, Espresso Mo-Tini, and Mi-Mosa will be going to charity!

So pop down for a pint or cocktail throughout the month, or join us on November 30th for Mo-Town!

Lose the Mo’

Lose the lipholstery in style, with complimentary clippings on the day courtesy of Soulsby’s Barbers. Kyle from Soulsby's will be bringing a chair down to Servo Yard Bar, and to sweeten the deal we'll throw in some prizes for blokes brave enough to drop the mop.

Frothy Mo - Split the G Competition
3:00-6:00PM

Challenged in the moustache department? Don a frothy one at our Split the G competition, your opportunity to showcase your sipping prowess, in support of a good cause… The winner will take home a handsome trophy for their efforts, a $200 gift voucher for The Leederville Precinct, and eternal bragging rights.

Grab a pint at the bar and bring it over to our referee table to have your attempt adjudicated by our professional beer inspectors (no pre-sips)! Successful G splitters will bag some Guinness merch (while stocks last), enjoy their next pint for free, and will qualify for the Final Split-Off at 6PM.

2:00PM 'til Late!

Never let a good pun go to waste! Local Legends Loco Ren and Tom Drummond from The Funk Club will be spinning grooves all day, inspired by the soulful sounds of the motor city. Think Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Jackson 5, and more…

From 5:00pm they'll be joined by Aysha Amani, who'll be laying down some live vocals over some of your favourite old-school tunes, and new favourites...

Plus, kick on with Gold Soul playing Motown hits live in the Hotel from 8pm!
