About this event

Thank you for registering for MONOPRINTING FROM THE NATURAL WORLD with Seraphina Martin at The Makers Studio Central Coast.

Monoprinting from the Natural World will focus on forms and textures found in nature using a variety of materials such as pressed leaves, feathers and organic fibres. Cut papers will provide a stencil to create multiple layers of colour using the Viscosity inking process. These will reveal exciting, vibrant and unpredictable compositions. Emphasis will be placed on layering and colour application as well as opportunities to develop your ideas with drawings and mark making onto a plastic plate.

Many printing techniques will be applied and demonstrated. At the conclusion of the workshop, a Fine Art portfolio of stunning prints will be produced on state of the arts papers.
