This summer, slow down the pace with Slow Flow Yoga from 9-10am in the morning.
Picture it - a relaxing yoga class overlooking the beautiful Cowes beach with the sound of waves lapping in the background. Take an hour out of your day for some self-care and 'me time'.
Please note - location change: Due to council maintenance of the platform in Erehwon Point Reserve, this class has moved to the grass lawn to the left of the Wildlife Coast Scenic Cruises ticket office. You can find this between the end of Thompson Ave and the start of the Cowes Jetty.
This class is suitable for all abilities (ages 16+). I will be supplying yoga blocks, straps and offering modifications and challenges so you can honour what your body needs on the day.
Slow Flow means we'll be bringing mindful awareness and holding poses for longer to build up the burn. I will also be incorporating myofascial release techniques to unwind any tension you're holding in the body.
Please bring your own yoga mat or a beach towel to practice on. You may also want to bring an extra towel to roll up under knees, hips etc for padding.
Please be sun smart and come prepared with sunscreen, hat, tshirt, a bottle of water. There is some shade at this time of day but I can't guarantee everyone will be out of the sun.
There are toilets nearby at the end of Thompson Ave if needed and there is plenty of 4 hour parking on the Esplanade for anyone driving.
