Winemakers will be showcasing the region’s Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Sparkling wines among the group of 23 wineries, who have new stories to tell, new wines to share and people to meet.

The lineup includes: Crittenden Wines, Dexter, Foxeys Hangout, Garagiste, Kerri Greens, Handpicked Wines, Kyberd Hills, Kooyong & Port Phillip Estate, Montalto, Nazaaray, Ocean Eight, Paringa Estate, Polperro & Even Keel, Portsea Estate, Pt Leo Estate, Phaedrus, Quealy Winemakers, Rahona Valley, Southern Light Vineyards, Stonier, Symons Wines, Tar & Roses and Yabby Lake.

The Mornington Peninsula is a region of spectacular natural beauty with a long history of fruit growing in a cool, maritime climate with prevailing cool southerly winds coming off Bass Strait which moderate temperatures to provide mild growing conditions. This enables us to grow and ripen quality Pinot Noir, a grape that flourishes in a select few regions around the world. In rich volcanic soils of the Peninsula coupled with the maritime climate deliver wines which embody purity and perfume intensity of fruit flavour and lively acidity that is characteristic of Mornington Peninsula wines.

The Vignerons of the Mornington Peninsula are a collective of boutique producers that have a passion for growing exceptional fruit, making often very limited quantities of world-class wines, and will be pouring over 120 wines for one night only.

We look forward to meeting you.

Bringing wine experiences of the vignerons of the Mornington Peninsula across the calendar

  • March - Piers & Pinots at Flinders Pier. Held on the Sunday of the March long weekend at the Flinders Foreshore, we showcase maritime cool climate Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris with a tasting by the sea.
  • May - The Winery Walk. When the autumn colours are at their most bright, pull on your boots and take a walk from Red Hill to Merricks, visiting iconic wineries along the way, tasting with delicious bites to match.
  • June - The Winter Wine Weekend. Known for the less strenuous pursuit of wine appreciation and local food grazing , the weekend starts with a winemaker's dinner on the Friday then onto the showcase tasting of over 150 wines at the heart of the region, the Red Hill Showgrounds. Wineries have feature events throughout the weekend.
  • October - Mornington Peninsula Wine Show. Celebrating the excellence of our local wine industry.
